Age codition: All interested and eligible candidates age limit should be in the range of 18-40 years, and below 42 years for PH candidates, and below43 years for RBA/ SC/ ST/ ALC/ SLC candidates, below 45 years for Government Service candidates, 48 years for Ex-serviceman candidates as on Jan 01st 2014.

Acedemic record: All interested and eligible candidates should have to complete Post-graduation degree in Pathology that is MD Pathology/ Path and Bact, Ph.D, D.S.C Specialty board of Pathology (USA) or MRCP, Path (UK) for Lecturer Posts, have to qualify MBBS or possession of any recognized Graduation qualifications, have to clear Post Graduation Degree in the respective specialty for Consultant Posts.

Selection Model: All interested and eligible candidates who are shortlisted candidates will be called for written test, interview.

Getting of Application Forms: All interested and eligible candidates can get application form by paid at from the office of the J&K Public Service Commission, Polo Ground Srinagar/ Resham Ghar Colony, Bakshi Nagar, Jammu.

Cost of application Fee: All interested and eligible candidates should have to pay Rs.500/- (excluding processing charges of Rs.10/-) for General and unreserved candidates and need to pay, Rs.250/- (excluding processing charges of Rs.10/-) through Bank Draft at the counters of J&K Bank opened in the offices of J&K Public Service Commission at Polo Ground, Srinagar/ Resham Ghar Colony, Bakshi Nagar, Jammu from 9:30 am to 3:00 pm on all working days.

How to Apply: All interested and eligible candidates are required to post their applications in the standard and specified format along with attested Xerox copies of Date of Birth Certificate, Permanent Resident Certificate, Educational Qualification Certificate, Registration certificate, Attempt certificate, Internship certificate, Result Notification of MS/ MD/ DNB/ MCH, Valid Category certificate, Disability Certificate, passport size photograph and all the proof attested by the Gazette Officer should be pasted at the relevant place/ space in the Application Form.
